WE ARE EWU’S PREMIER CO-ED BUSINESS FRATERNITY
by Katie Lauer, Vice President of Membership
In 1967, a chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi was founded here on EWU’s campus with members who captured higher ideals therein, to grow themselves professionally and make a difference to the students here.
As a member of the Eta Phi chapter for three years I feel the strong bond of brotherhood and commitment to make big things happen among the members since the day I joined as a freshman looking for a group to belong to. Not only was I personally looking for a group of people who share like minded goals to develop oneself majorly, but friends that will last a lifetime.
This organization has taught me to develop myself on a level that I never thought was possible. To see the bigger picture of college, to make networks of diverse people, to see how the possibilities of what I can do are endless and recruits becoming members.
Every quarter I enjoy seeing the growth that incoming members make and remembering how I was in that position of growing with the help of amazing members. To decide to take that one step further in advancing yourself is that one push to grow, to make connections and have a lasting impact on a group of people.
